Cummins Onan 7 kW Dual-Fuel RV Generator — 7HGLCA-8312
7 kW (7,000 W), 120/240 V, 60 Hz, 58.3 / 29.2 Amps, dual fuel (gasoline or LP vapor), two 30 A receptacles, runs two 15,000 BTU rooftop air conditioners, model 7HGLCA-8312
The Onan QG inverter series is Cummins' quietest RV power: a variable-speed, fuel-injected engine paired with inverter electronics, so the set throttles to the load instead of running flat out. That means about 63 dB(A) at no load, less fuel burned at low draw, and clean, stable power for laptops and other sensitive electronics.
Features and benefits
- Variable-speed inverter. Engine speed tracks demand rather than holding a fixed rpm — quieter, more efficient, and far less droning at camp.
- Electronic fuel injection. Easier starting in cold and at altitude than a carbureted set, with no choke to fuss over and a single fuel line.
- Clean power. Inverter output is suitable for laptops, TVs and other sensitive electronics.
- Built to mount and forget. Sealed enclosure with an integrated muffler, vibration-isolated mounting, and a control panel designed for remote start from inside the coach.
- Self-diagnostics. Microprocessor control reports fault codes rather than leaving you guessing.
