Top of the MOBILAIR line. 1700 CFM at 100 psig from a 443 BHP Cummins QSG 12, on a tandem-axle trailer with a 211-gallon tank. Two variable pressure ranges - 100 to 125 and 125 to 205 psig - so it adapts to the job rather than the other way around. This is large-diameter pipeline, deep foundation and major infrastructure equipment; at this size the aftercooler is close to mandatory.
Every MOBILAIR shares the same core engineering. The large, slow-turning SIGMA PROFILE® airend delivers 15–20% more air per gallon of fuel than comparable units, which is the single biggest line item over a machine's life. The anti-frost valve holds discharge air temperature high enough that ambient moisture will not freeze in the tool, protecting air motors and extending tool service life. Heavy-duty chassis and canopy resist corrosion; package airflow is routed to keep the engine cool under load; and the cold-start battery means the unit turns over in winter. Towable models ride on torsion bar suspension with even weight distribution.
