The M17 is the compact end of the MOBILAIR line and the one that spends its life in the bed of a pickup. Sixty CFM off a Honda GX630 is enough for breakers, drills, saws, grinders and impact tools, and the belt drive keeps the package short and light enough for one person to reposition by hand. It is also the unit of choice for monument engraving and fall sprinkler blowouts. The optional 217 psig build is the standard rig for fiber optic cable moles.

Every MOBILAIR shares the same core engineering. The large, slow-turning SIGMA PROFILE® airend delivers 15–20% more air per gallon of fuel than comparable units, which is the single biggest line item over a machine's life. The anti-frost valve holds discharge air temperature high enough that ambient moisture will not freeze in the tool, protecting air motors and extending tool service life. Heavy-duty chassis and canopy resist corrosion; package airflow is routed to keep the engine cool under load; and the cold-start battery means the unit turns over in winter. Towable models ride on torsion bar suspension with even weight distribution.
