At 50 kW and up, the Quiet Connect™ gaseous line is a commercial-grade standby platform that still installs like a residential unit. A naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine turning 1800 rpm on natural gas or LP vapor drives a Cummins alternator under PowerCommand® control, in a sound-attenuated aluminum enclosure. Single-phase 120/240 V and three-phase 120/208 V, 120/240 V and 277/480 V configurations are available.
Features and benefits
- Built for extremes. Cold starts to -40 °F when properly equipped; meets EPA, UL and IBC seismic standards and can satisfy NFPA 110 requirements.
- Advanced enclosure. Aluminum with powder coat for best-in-class anti-corrosion performance, evaluated to 180 MPH wind loads per ASCE7-10, with hinged service doors; roughly 69 dB(A) at 23 feet on a 50 kW set.
- PowerCommand® control. Total generator set integration — automatic remote start/stop, precise frequency and voltage regulation, alarm and status display, output metering, auto-shutdown at fault detection, and NFPA 110 Level 1 compliance.
- Six-cylinder gaseous engine. Naturally aspirated, 1800 rpm, natural gas or LP vapor.
- Flexible exercise mode. As little as 2 minutes every 6 months, reducing fuel burn and emissions.
- Service and warranty. Advanced onboard diagnostics with quick maintenance access; 2-year standby base warranty with extended coverage available.
Three-phase unit. Confirm the service voltage and phase at the panel before ordering — the same kW rating is built in several voltage configurations and they are not field-interchangeable.
